I love to travel and in large part my love for travel and other cultures is what informs a lot of how I design. As we all know, travel requires patience, attention to details, time management and endless amounts of empathy for everyone and everything happening around you. Yet, it is also a boundless opportunity to learn and see how people react to all sorts of things that one would never think about if you choose to observe it that way.

I Do the Things…
So listen, here’s the thing. I am a nerd and I enjoy doing nerdy things. One of my favorite nerdy things, believe it or not, is to learn. I love to learn! If someone could pay me to do it I absolutely would. One of the by-products of this, is that I am exceedingly curious about everything! I am what is affectionately known in the parenting community as a “Why?-Baby”. The second by-product is that I love solving problems. I am the person burrowed in a book or my notebook at the coffee shop, brow furrowed trying to learn about something so that I can try to fix something. Did I mention that I’m also an engineer?
